St. John author Janet Burton said from the time she was a child she wanted to write a book. 28 years after she was inspired by a book on outstanding Virgin Islanders she published one about the people of St. John.
Burton began writing “Before Our Time” while working as a Librarian at Julius E. Sprauve School.
